Good evening Sheffield!
We are holding an event on the 12th & 13th July in Sheffield to raise funds for the Childrens Heart Surgery Fund in Leeds and the British Transplant Games which is being held in Sheffield in August.
8 of us from Hillfoot Steel will play two badminton matches in the hope we will break the current world record of 24 hours 21 minutes 19 seconds.
We are looking for a local celebrity past or present to spare us a few minutes of their time to blow the air horn and start the event.
Does anyone out there know anybody that could help??

What's a past celebrity - a dead one ? If you manage to get a live celebrity for goodness sake don't tell them that you think of them as a "past" celebrity.You might as well say "hasbeen" !

Well if that hasn't sweet-talked him into doing it I don't Know what will.
Cheers guys, I will try and contact Toby and refer to him as a 'Live' celebrity ! :-)
Thanks again, I have emailed Toby through the Radio Sheffield website and Facebook. I will let you know the outcome, and if he does oblige, I would expect to see Miss Moneypenny there at 10am next Saturday !
Had a reply back from Toby through Facebook but he is busy next weekend, sorry moneypenny!
