I remember the international cops on camera type show, (street crime, or something?) and for some strange reason, no matter where they were in italy, it was always the same big-wig carabineri with a white uniform sash that was the one who went wading in.

Whether it was rome, or padua, or naples or wherever, it was him in front of the camera.

(it's 250 miles between Rome and Padua, and 118 between Rome and Naples so it was quite weird. it's be like an Edinburgh copper, leading a raid in Padstow!, Cornwall :huh: )
