Hi Everyone,

Just a bit of a moan really to make myself feel better! I'm really not having a good time of it lately, my back hurts pretty much all the time. I'm ok sat down but as soon as I stand up it feels like my insides are going to fall out and I get stabbing pains down by back into my bum! Sometimes my legs buckle a bit too. Is this all normal? I've got acid heart burn constantly at the moment as well. I'm feeling pretty fed up with all the aches and pains, still got 7/8 weeks to go!!!! Oh yeah, my bladder feels full all the time and my ribs hurt! Hehehe, anyone else hurt too?!!

I went swimming last night and it was amazing, no pain or anything! I'm going every night from now on! I'd live in the pool if I could!

Oh well, I finish work on the 31st July. It can't come quick enough.

Thanks for putting up with my moan!

It sounds as though you might have sciatica or spd. If you speak to your GP or Midwife they would be able to tell you. I had sciatica during one pregnancy and spd during the other. I was sent to the physio at jessops who gave me some gentle exercises and told me the best way to sit, lay down and get up etc.

It seems to go straight after giving birth but other than that you just have to grin and bear it.!!

Good Luck

I have every sympathy...I'm 3 weeks behind you, so not quite at the point of desperation, but certainly I'm getting more and more uncomfortable. The back into the bum pain - check. The heartburn - check. The constant full bladder - check. The aching ribs - check. And the feeling that your insides are about to end up on your outside - check. Add maudy, hormonal cow to the equation for me, too.

Oh, the joys! I cried the other night and told my DH that i wasn't really enjoying being pregnant at the mo, then felt huge remorse, thought fate would think I meant I didn't want to be pregnant, and ended up writing 'I love (our name for this little mooch)' all over the chalkboard so he'd know I really do want him, lol. It's perfectly normal to get fed up...but like sheff minx said, keep your eyes on the prize. it's all worth it a million times over in the end.
