Just seen the advert on ITV1 about the new series of Hell's Kitchen and it doesnt look as good as the first series.
From what my friend told me two chef's (Gary Rhodes and some french guy!) are competing against each other serving their food to celebrity diners .
Will Hell's kitchen be any good without Gordon?

Gary Rhodes is just way too annoying, but will be good to see how he copes under pressure instead of having forever to create his dishes [usually see his programmes on Saturday Kitchen and he works at a snails pace]

I thought the whole point of Hells Kitchen came about because of Gordon Ramseys Firey temprament, Im guessing he didnt want to do another series and now they are just milking it....

I watched it last night and thought it really bizarre - Gary Rhodes was trying to be the 'New Gordon Ramsey' by being quite aggressive towards his team - swearing, shouting etc

Whereas the french guy Jean-Christophe was being rather pleasant to his lot!!!

Kellie is soooo like Kathy Burke.......sound and lookalike (sorry Kellie.....!!)

I never watched it with Gordon Ramsey, but really enjoyed it last night. I know what you mean about Kellie. The only thing i didn't like about it was that horrid Simon! He was too cocky, giddy and just plain annoying. He made it all look like a big joke. Think he only came on so he could be shouted at my the chef. Think he gets a kick out of it! :heyhey:

cant believe that gordons not doing it this time around. also cant believe that there are no celebrities either. hk1 was fantastic. im a big non believer in tv reality shows but this was the exception. it had me and the missus glue to the tv for weeks. bring back f~~king gordon for f~~ks sake!!!!!!!!!

I think it's much better this time around. There's a nice contrast between archetypal Fench chef Jean-Cristophe and purveyor of traditional English fare Gary Rhodes, and watching normal people take on the challenge in the kitchen is so much more satisfying than watching a load of Z-listers boost their egos.
