Any advice would be welcome.
I'm currently blacklisted but could really use a mobile phone on contract - only problem is - I have no credit or debit card facilities and acredit check will clearly show I'm blacklisted but am paying off all of my debts.
Is there any companies out there that will give me one based on the wages earn I earn?

Why does it specifically have to be on contract? You're unlikely to get one with a blacklist on your credit rating, and you can get pay as you go phones for £20 these days!
Life's sometimes tough; if your credit rating is such that a phone company will not give you a contract phone then you're stuck with it.
There are some quite reasonable handsets available on 'Pay as you go' - I use one of the less fashionable PAYG ones myself :) - and you can get them starting at about GBP 20 upwards.
Of course, they're not the 'bells and whistles' ones that the companies offer for contract users but if you want a telephone and not a fashion accessory then you'll have no problems finding something.

If you shop around you can get some good PAYG deals, depending on whether you want texts or talk time.
The main cost of a contract is just to cover the 'free' expensive phone. If you want a posh phone with loads of features, Ebay is probably your best bet.

I saw an advert for Orange PAYG tonight. I can't remeber the exact details but it was something along the lines of use £10 top up a week and get £5 free. Don't quote me onthat but may be worth you checking it out as it sounds quite a good deal. Plus O2 are always giving away free PAYG sim cards that if you top up with at least £10 a month you get 300 free texts. Just shop around.
Failing that, can't you get someone else to get a contract one for you and you pay them the money every month? I do that for a mate who had bad credit. He's done if for nearly 2 years and never ripped me off (yet!!)

Could you ask a friend or realtive to get a phone in their name for you? Worth a try!
Some of the decent "3" PAYG phones are pretty cheap and you can get most of them unlocked now and move to a good network ;) Virgin and EasyMobile have probably the cheapest tariffs for PAYG can't remember which network they use so dont know how good coverage etc will be.
Thanks for your input guys!
I already have a PAYG samsung - but it's pretty naff. I would like a contract for the free minuites and txts that roll over, as I'm spending roughly £20.00 - £30.00 per month in credit, so £15.00 line rental would suit me to a T.
In addition to the line rental you get the latest phones which I wouldn't mind having!
I've already asked family if they would do for me and was told firmly but failry NO. So, looks like I'm stuck on PAYG but upgrading my handset when I can afford it!
Again cheers for your help.
Enjoy your weekend,
Swiller.
