Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, supported by their families. This year is Marie Curie Cancer Care's 60th Anniversary and we simply could not have reached this significant milestone without the amazing support, hard work and commitment of our volunteers. We're always looking to welcome new volunteers to our organisation and in particular at the moment we're looking for volunteers to help out at the BUPA Great Yorkshire Run on Sunday September 7th 2008.

If you fancy helping us out with either of the volunteer opportunities below, or would like more information in general about Marie Curie Cancer Care, give us a call in the local fundraising office on 0114 279 3010. We looking forwrad to hearing from you!

BUPA Great Yorkshire Run - Marie Curie Cheering Team Members
We have over 500 runners in our Marie Curie Cancer Care Daffodil Team in this race - you may even have family and friends who are running with us? You can be part of our team cheering on the day and help make it the best possible experience for all those wonderful runners who are raising valuable funds to support our Marie Curie Nurses. We want our runners to know that we are supporting them every step of the way and you can help us achieve this. It really makes a huge difference to our runners if we make lots of encouraging noise. The hours of helping are 9.00am to 2.00pm approximately and specific details about the role will be confirmed nearer the day.
