I have put a suggestion about this photography forum on the 'forum suggestions' page if people want to go and have a look, not sure if people go on there a lot as you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom, I think the moderators maybe only consider the suggestion if a certain number of people reply to it.
It is entitled 'Photography Forums'

Are you referring to this post?

I'm not sure I see the need for sub-forums. We don't discourage traditional photography, there's just few people who still use it. Those who do are more than welcome to post :)

I'll go along with that. If this forum is 'swamped with digital' it's only because no-one who uses film has much to say here. If you have then come on in and say it. Even those of us who have converted to digital (well many of us anyway) used to use film and I'm sure would be quite happy to join in film based discussions. (You don't want to buy a Jobo enlarger by any chance?)

I mostly use film, and I'm sure I don't understand all the digital stuff - but the basic ideas of photography are the same whether you do film or digital, and it's good to broaden your horizons!
lilqueenie, you are so right!! The charity shops are stuffed full of books on photography - all showing 35mm film cameras on the cover, and people won't buy them because they are not "digital", but the basic ideas of composition, texture, framing, exposure, depth of field etc etc are covered in these books - they are still good reference books
