Hi,

Im a young guy living in Sheffield who really wants to get involved in some form of motorsport. Im interested in the technical side and would be open to anything.

I dont have the money or experience to start something up on my own so im really looking for any established teams or organisiers that might be interested in an extra pair of hands (free of course). I have a full time job so would be looking to do something on evenings and weekends.

Im an intellegent guy (I work in the science industry) and have a good fundemental understanding of engines and other mechanical systems associated with motorsport vehicles (gearboxes, suspension etc.). Im also very practical, regularly working on my own car as well as undertaking DIY projects.

If anyone has any offers or suggestions please let me know.

get yourself to a few club races. Ask round the paddock if anyone needs a pair of hands and you wont be able to move for work!! I'm off to donnington this weekend to spanner for a YZF400 (bike) good luck. :thumbsup:

Pit crew for an F1 team would be bloody mint. Doubt you`d be able to sneak off for five for a quick ciggy though.

Get in touch with the MIA (Motorsport Indusrty Association) They have a list of teams and opportunities.

Try a few of the local kart racing teams, here's one that i know of
