What do you all think about porn on the internet. I'm not particular talking about child porn - although we can discuss it if need be.

Its a very wide subject. There are so many different types of porn to discuss, each circumstance personal to every person. I think it should maybe be harder to access so its harder for kids to get hold of it, but then you could say to put a filter on your P.C.

One thing that I have found really annoying is when I'm looking for ARTISIC pieces of the naked body on the net - you type in the search engine, get your list and select and click on your link then about a million porn pop ups fly at you and as soon as you click out of them they come back! :mad: that really annoys me. I end up turning the internet off and starting again. Oh and if anyone doesnt believe me about the ARTISTIC pieces its true I study Fine Art and they are purely for work reasons! :rolleyes: HONEST! :P ;) :)

Get a pop-up blocker. The Google Toolbar (http://toolbar.google.com/) is good.

Pop up stopper is the best on the maket IMHO and it's free.

I recommend Avant Browser (http://download.com.com/3000-2356-10228216.html?tag=lst-0-1) , which is a small web browser that uses IE, and you can have several tabs containing different sites open at once, all within the 1 browser window, thus reducing RAM usage and making your screen look 'tidier'. The browser has several options, including being able to block pop up ads, and also to open the last browsed pages when you next open the browser. It is free and only a small download.

Porn on the internet is boring drivel ,anyone would think that sex had only just been invented, the way some of these idiots go on about it. who cares about porn anyhow? When you have seen one naked woman you have seen the lot!!!

I just delete the junk, again and again and again,problem solved!!!

Not sure I agree with that. I've not used Avant, but if it sounds like a clone of Mozilla Firebird (e.g. tabbed browsing, pop up blocking), but based on the IE engine. It is therefore inherantly an inferior product, as IE is a more sluggish browser, espcially when handling script, has lots of security flaws and pretty bad standards support. I say, go with Firebird.

Anyway, back on topic, porn - it's all good.
