Perhaps in light of Turkey's actions to deport British citizens many with no criminal records and brand them now as criminals, its time for tour / holiday companies to boycott sending British holiday makers to their lands. Lets watch their economy take a nose dive overnight..
When I read the thread title, I thought I'd have to find something else to have for my christmas dinner.

Is this what happened? Mind you the British police, Football Association and the Government had all requested that England fans not travel to the match. I can understand the supporters feeling aggrieved about this because they want to watch and support their team. But to go to Turkey after all the warnings is complete stupidity. What did they expect?
I even saw two fans on the news who tried getting in the stadium wearing Turkey shirts! That's like a Wednesdayite wearing a United shirt and going and sitting on their kop (or vice versa). Did they not think that their accents and non-Turkish appearance would give them away! If they had got into the stadium, their reaction to the penalty episode would have given them away.........I don't think the Turks, who would have been surrounding them, would have welcomed them with a smile and a handshake, and offered them a bit of their half-time kebab! They could have been killed!
I was ecstatic with the result. The English lads on the pitch did us proud. They were strong and brave in the face of so much intimidation, pressure and adversity. I was devastated for Becks when he slipped taking the penalty. Alpay's reaction was disgusting, but Becks really has to keep his head in future. When he got up, he lead with his head into Alpay's face, I thought there was a slight connection. I was really surprised Alpay did not fall down like a ton of bricks and we would have been down to ten men. I thought Becks was quite subdued in the second half but as I said the whole team can stand tall after last night's performance. Brilliant.
