My OH has irritable uterus (Actually shes got an irritable EVERYTHING) and although shes in a quiet stage at the moment, she often gets what can only be described as contractions which are painful enough for her to yell out in discomfort.

Shes had this for about six weeks, shes thirty one weeks preggers.

We looked at the net, Googled it all, shes even joined a pregnancy forum to try to find out anything from "Real" people as opposed to websites.

I told her that theres only one forum worth going to, a forum where you can get opinions and experiences that are worthwhile, but as that one is closed for the moment, I came here :D

IM KIDDING!!!

So, poppets, does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone experienced it?

In spite of the trawling through search engines we`ve both done, we cant get any good real life info....

Oh yeah... bear in mind that the OH WILL be reading this thread, so... No naughty telling her things that Ive been up to, ok?

Im dead.

I had this while pregnant with Rachel, give your mrs anything she wants because I promise you it hurts like hell !!

I think my midwife said that it was nothing to worry about, it was just going to be uncomfortable.

I got pain low down in belly and pelvis and kept getting what can only be described as twitchy legs...... the muscles from the hips down would spasm randomly and was very uncomfortable.

The only thing my docs said was take paracetamol. I did find that a warm bath helped as well though. Oh yeah, I found that a pregnancy belt helped a lot, I never wanted to take the thing off !!

Love to Mrs Jabberwoky, she has my every sympathy.

I had it too apparently and I think it's doctor speak for 'no idea but the uterus seems to be moving somewhat'.
They said it was because of being a twin pregnancy which seems to be part of the same 'no idea' part. I thought it was BH or early labour, since it was twins.
They kept me in, gave me paracetamol and ignored me for 2 days until I demanded to be let out since they were doing nothing.
Mbunting must have had it a lot worse, for me it was a lot like mild BH.
I hope Mrs Wocky is ok, it was more a storm in a tea cup with a lousy explanation from the 'professionals' for me.
