hi out there , does anyone know of any free sites to use to send sms texts from pc to mobile , as i am temp without mine thx (any will do whether or not you need to register)

I don't know if this is any good, but you can send free text messages, regardless of what network you are on. Looks like you need to register, but might be ok.

I'd check before you use what the limitations are and the daft things that some do though.

I was stuck a bit back not being to ring out on the phone I had with me but I did find a site that did free SMS so I used that to text someone to get them to call me. For some reason though the service appended 'txt back :)' to the end of the message so they did, which was of no use to me. Nowhere was this mentioned and it completely knackered the plan as I had no internet access after that particular moment, but anyway, yeah, just be careful out there.

Yeah, that's the one I used that appended crap to the end of the SMS making it useless and never to be used or recommended by me.
