I have just watched the film THE MIST on (of all places) you tube

I loved it.........a disaster/horror movie with more tension,monsters and action than you can shake a stick at..............

story.........mist comes down on an american town, monsters attack a large group of people in a supermarket

I haven't seen it but I read the book last year and couldn't put it down, so I'd probably watch it.

I bought the region 1 DVD a few months back. Loved it. Kept very true to the short novella by Stephen King, with the emphasis being on the monsters within us all rather than the ones without. Watching as the survivors began to turn on each other as desperation and panic set in was chilling.

The ending was extended from the end of the book, with Stephen King's complete consent (when Frank Darabont showed him the planned ending King loved it and comment that he wished he ahd thought of it).

Darabont seems to be the only director who really taps into King's work perfectly, and I hope we see him tackle more of the writer's work (fyi Darabont also adapted Shawshank Redemption and Green Mile).

I think it's possibly the best thing Stephen King has ever written and can't wait to see itin all it's glory on the big screen.

Really enjoyed this film tonight... All I will say is that it doesn't end that well for the characters. Heartbreaking.

Watched it yesterday. Good film throughout, the bible bashing woman annoyed me soooo much. Cried buckets at the end!

I'll be watching it tonight - Directed by Frank Darabond I believe, of Shawshank Redemption fame.

I didn't particularly like this film but I will say one thing.. Ollie was a complete legend! lol.
