Would it be practical to have a 'Roads and Traffic' section? I was thinking about somewhere the police could post about the siting of mobile speed cameras (as they do in The Star) and also advance warning about roadworks or likely disruption. Forummers could also post if they are aware of any specific problems on the roads.
