I really dont have the slightest sympathies to the git and am only sorry that he didnt lose an entire database, get his staff on to him for using pirated software supplied by a dodgy dealer, a finance company screw up his credit rating and then have the entire system pack up on him with a hard disk failure.

Rich, I don't think people hate MS, rather they despise it.

It's bit like teenage drunkenness, people don't like it, they feel very uncomfortable about it but it seems there is nothing to be done about it.

I like microsoft, however I don't agree with paying (or more so paying through the nose) for their software. But obviously there's nothing you can do about it.

That's where you're wrong - you dont have to buy their gear in the first place especially now that there's so much online collaboration software about. :)
