Euro 2008 predictions league, THE FINAL.

As I will mostly be on the road, and not have use of a computer between the game ending tonight and Sunday, I am posting this now (nor will I be able to update the league table either, sorry).

GERMANY v RUSSIA or SPAIN

Double points on offer.

12 points for getting correct team winning and score right at 90 minutes
10 points for getting correct team winning and score right at 120 minutes
12 points for predicting correct draw (90 minutes)
10 points for predicting correct draw (after 120 minutes)
-but no extra for predicting a winner on penalties, for those selecting a draw
6 points for predicting a draw but wrong score at 90 minutes (if neither of above)
4 points for getting right winning team but wrong score (90 minutes)
2 point for getting right winning team but wrong score (after 120 minutes)
1 point , if the team your selected to win, wins on penalties
NO extra points for winner on penalties, for people who predicted a draw.

My own prediction (and as at this stage I don't know who Germany will be playing, I'm really guessing)

As it might be Russia, and the game might follow the trend of Operation Barbarossa, with the Germans taking an early lead, but being pegged back in the same manner as tehy were at Stalingrad, with the Russians to nick it at the death.

So,
Germany 1 Whoever they are playing 1.

Spain to win.
I actually typed that wrong at first as SPIN TO WIN though not in capitals, sheesh I will get better at typing one dya.

I probably won't get any better at this prediction malarky though as I haven't got any right since I bet on on Everton to win the FA cup in 1995 then lost my ticket.

Quality, the little mare has just got a Spain top now, I think he has summit like 10 football shirts now.

I know that Spain have been by far, a much better team than Germany over the last 3 weeks. I know that Spain have more flair, better individuals, more prolific strikers, and a stronger defence.
I know that the German central defensive partnership is just about the worst pairing Germany have ever fielded. I know Ballack is playing poor, and it's difficult to name most of the other German players. I know that Lahm and Schwien Rod Steiger are the only players to make any sort of impression in the German team. I know Lehmann is playing crap. I know Spain are very clear favourites. I know Spain should win this game easily, nearly everybody says so.
