can anyone help???
I've been told that my grandparents ran the Roebuck Tavern in the early fifties She was Elsie Glazebrook (Nee Lee)or might still have been Bunting..
I'm also told that her parents ran a pub in Heeley not sure when or what it was called it's opposite a school possible off Anns road????? They were called George F Lee & Hannah Lee.

cheers for that.. my grandfather was Harold Bunting but he died in 1932 i knew that Elsie remarried to a Glazebrook but didnt know his first name so once again Thanks

Also found out today that the pub off Anns Road in Heeley is The Shakespeare Inn

:) Mrs Hannah Lee ran the Shakespeare 106 Well Rd 1935 to 1942 after this date no info until Fox 1951.

Her Husband William was listed as the landlord in 1933 he was not the landlord in 1927.
