Don't know if anyone has any ideas but my son has a lycra bodysuit he's grown out of, as well as a pair of leg gaiters. I've been told that they can't be used again as they were made for him, and to throw them away, but it does seem a shame when they cost a lot to make. Does anyone know if theres anything I can do with them?

You could try putting them on Sheffield Freecycle, (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Sheffield-FreeCycle/) or the freebies section in classified ads on here.

I could, but its quite specialised equipment and I dont want to give it to someone where it could do harm to someones child if not used properly - for instance the bodysuit needs to be a good fit and the supportive bits in the right place, ideally it would be to a medical proffessional who could recycle it
