Just what I was wondering. I suppose it's a good thing that the clubs will get extra Sky money (or is that built in anyway?), but it won't be a good thing if it means a smaller attendance.

true but some "fans" wont go if its sky or no sky :)

only way to sell out is give united at least 15,000 tkts instead of 7,000. last season there was more than 8,000 empty seats. the pigbro derby is embarrassing to this city's true fans. imagine 8,000 plus empty seats at a manchester, liverpool, north london derby. no you cant.

The good old blue and white of this city should treat the Piggy half as we were treated last season and only give you 2000 tickets then let us sit above you and rain urine coins and all the other muck that came down on me and my mates when at pig lane!! That would be fair but as we are the bigger club then of course we cant upset our neighbors so will give you a fair ticket allocation, i also seem to remember a fair amount of empty seats in the red and white end at pig lane even though sky stayed away from the smell!!!!!

Can anyone remind me of the attendance at the Lane for the televised FA Cup game against Man City?

I can remember City brought 7000.

And the Arsenal game too.

if that happened, wouldn't they have to refund the fans who have already been ripped off by their extortionate season ticket prices ?.
