Does anybody know if you can have a couple of drinks on penicillin? I should have asked the doctor but never thought and now the weekend is here it's too late.

I take no responsibility for any subsequent hangover due to abuse of alchohol, not that you would. Mo 10-10-2003, 19:01 Thanks Max. If I don't come on-line for a day or two you'll know why. mr craig 10-10-2003, 19:18 I tried it a few years ago when i had a throat infection,a couple of drinks you'll probably be ok,but if you get into some serious drinking you'll know about it,messed me up quite a bit! tinajones 11-10-2003, 13:05 it depends on what brand it is. some allow you to have 'a' drink but otheres you shouldn't even go there. ask your pharmacist! ring up boots or something. plus basically all that will happen if you drink alcohol is that the drug will become ineffective and therefore it'll be a waste of time taking it. jayjay03 11-10-2003, 13:29 Does the same rule apply if I mix my insoluble aspirin with a Stella? halevan 11-10-2003, 16:43 Originally posted by Mo Does anybody know if you can have a couple of drinks on penicillin?
