No you are not alone...i own a crestie and yes ok they look a little strange and taking one for a walk is difficult as people stop you every 2 minutes to ask what it is?...lol but i think they are adorable. They may not be the prettiest dogs in the world but their personalaties are great. After all people beauty is only skin deep, as they say.

Mind you, I think a lot of 'proper' looking breeds are hideous to be honest. Don't understand the appeal of squashed up faces, too much skin, no fur and the like at all. I always think, If a person was born like that by some sort of genetic mistake, you'd feel dreadfully sorry for them not think 'You should breed with your close relatives to make offspring with even weirder facial features or even more droopy skin!' which is what happens with a lot of dogs and cats sadly.

Personally I think they're all gorgeous, but then, I like all dogs.
