I have been looking at some Blackberry's, most of the one's i looked at do not have wifi, how fast would the internet be on these, as there is EDGE but no 3G.

Also do i have to sign up to anything with Blackberry to use the email/internet?

I need to know a bit more about these before i think about purchasing one.
