Hi
We have a Boxer who we believe is 6years old (only got him in August 07). On Friday he had a wee in the kitchen which is not like him, any way i cleaned it up and took him for a walk. Saturday morning We got up and he had done 2 wee's on the floor and for the rest of the day he laid down and got up to go out or to go for a drink. Later on in the day he did another wee in the living room and laid back down.
I got up this morning and again i woke up to loads of wee on the floor, He is normally jumping all over and he always wants the kids to play with him, and barking at everyone that walks past!! but over the weekend he's just laid down . I have been told off two people that his kidneys may be failing :( I', going to ring the vets first thing in the morning, but i was wondering if anyone had an idea as to what could be wrong :help:
he is eating normally but drinking more than normal. We walk him 3 times a day and let him on the garden in between his walks.

Any guessses from us may make you panic worse - so best to see a vets.
It could be anything from incontinence to diabetes, both treatable btw.I've experienced both with exact same symptoms.

Could be a urine infection my dog was a lot like yours, he will need to see the vet for this.

They'll probably fit him in tomorrow and he could be feeling better by Tuesday, if it's a bladder infection.

Keep positive and get him seen to.

Yes i took a urine sample with me, they said his sugar level where a little low but not too much for concern. I have to take him back in 4weeks for another urine test. He's been fine since. The vets think he was just having an off day.
