Hi!

I am looking at starting up a webstore to sell Wii Accessories at trade prices and having bad experiences with both Google Checkout and PayPal - I want to use a decent payment processor online to take a lot of orders.

I hear I need a IMA - Internet Merchant Account from a bank which is doable but I would like to take payments without having to take time to go into branch and get the account sorted.

Can I take online payments through a webstore without using Google Checkout or PayPal AND without using an IMA account?

If anyone can help, I would be very happy.
Thankyou.

You still need a merchant account to be able to debit customers cards / accounts.

Not great asking people to email CC / debit card details as we all know emails can go to the wrong recipient.

Best to stick to a secure method of transaction, for both you and your customers.
