hi!

I've got a Toshiba Equium laptop. If you download a HD film, can you link your laptop to a hd telly and will the piccy come out in HD? if so what cable do i need?

Or if there are any other tips you may know, please let me know.

DVI - HDMI and a 3.5mm stereo audio to 2x phono male would most likely be what you need. This does of course depend what you have on the laptop and TV port wise and what the specs on the graphics card are, I'd be surprised if it would output 1080p.
