I'm wanting someone to come out and microchip the horses. I seem to remember someone on here was registered to do it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Does anyone have any ideas? Tubthump 20-06-2008, 16:00 Hello, There's another thread floating about microchipping, but I can't find it to link to sorry! I answered on it though, that I've just read in Grapevine that Broomhill Vets are having a special offer on Microchipping, and the vet sounds really friendly in the article. It said she chips all kinds of animals. Hope this helps! Tub xxhunniixx 20-06-2008, 16:06 jess id recommend freezemarking i was talking to a lady from defra she says if u micro chip and they steal ur horse they can locate chip and cut it out!!!! we have them coming out in july to freeze mark ours x Jess22 20-06-2008, 16:08 Thanks Hunni, I was looking at having both done. I just remembered there was a forummer that did chipping. xxhunniixx 20-06-2008, 16:15 think its gemima.... not too sure tho p'm her x MrsCarter 20-06-2008, 17:00 Jess, I just had my vet come out and had one of my girls chipped :D It cost £25.00. Are your horses vaccinations due? Perhaps you could combine the two to save on callout fees?? :D xx Rainrescue 21-06-2008, 00:18 Only a vet can Microchip a horse - most on here are ok with dogs - but defo not horses i would second the freezemarking - and often off the saddle patch is best Lotti 21-06-2008, 07:41 Hello, There's another thread floating about microchipping, but I can't find it to link to sorry!
