Sad to say our 23 month old Rottie cross we had to have her put to sleep yesterday, she had injested anti-freeze and caused total kidney failure, the vets did everything they could but there was nothing more that could have done, we had 2 options let her die painfully within 24 hours or let her go with no pain.

She will be sadly missed and is so sad as she was only a puppy.

It's just too difficult getting the balance between wrapping them up in cotton wool and letting them live a little isn't it?

I hope your other dog is coping okay without her

He is doing fine.

He seems to be more of a house dog now, he used to spend all day outside with her, but hes not sat in liveing room, most of time sits in window looking outside.

Shes back here now too, had her creamated in Doncaster. (privatly) at PCS

Hardest part for us is comeing home after we nip out. Hopefully things will get easier though.
