I grew up near Canterbury in Kent, and on a little street just off the main high street - next to the Canterbury Tales tourist attraction - there's a fabulous chippie that sells these amazing deep fried mushrooms.
It's almost lunchtime and I really, really want some but I don't want to drive 200 miles to get them.
Is there anywhere locally I could get them? Breadcrumbs don't count, and none of those silly garlic button thingies - I'm talking about a big, battered deep-fried mushroom. Or twenty.
