I'm on a health drive

(despite the bacon sarnie this morning, owned up to on another thread, which I didn't finish due to dawny1's description of a mans armpit)

As a result of this healthy eating campaign, I am trying to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables and less rubbish.

For the last few days, I have brought a lunchbox of chopped Carrots to work to munch and very pleasent they are too....

But,

my work colleagues have noticed I am getting rather hyper and giddy on this new health drive. I'm wondering if there is something in the carrots :suspect: :suspect:

Can anyone shed light on this ???

Maybe if they are not Organic ones and they are the nasty dipped in chemical ones and make your fingers orange when you cut them up? And they have made you a bit hypo.

Go back to the bacon - you know how rabbits behave with eating carrots although if there is a Mr LoopyLou I'm sure he won't complain!:heyhey:

Carrots are only second to The Beet family in their sugar content, they are also rich in vitamin A and contain calcium pectate that, during certain medical research, has been known to lower choresterol.

Maybe some of these items could interfer with any medication you may be on or just your bodies metabolism

Perhaps your body is excited that you are actually eating something that contains vitamins, you may just be getting natural energy that you have missed out on through years of just eating crap!

Could be the high sugar content Bruce, that would do it for sure.

So in summary,,,,

Carrots turn your fingers orange, make you horny like a rabbit, have a high sugar content but the vitamins get you excited....

Erm.... mystery solved then...............:(

I'm ashamed to say that my mind also went down this road when I read the thread title. A dirty mind is a terrible thing to waste. ;)
