Chris (another forum user) and I are chatting on MSN and it's 2.48 in the morning. A street cleaner has just gone past (makes a change ), and I started to wonder if anyone else out there in Internet-land is a night owl?

PS.
Consectutive days of little sleep are taking their toll... :?

Am listening to Moribund the Burgermeister - can't hear any street-cleaners :( I did hear an ice-cream van the other day, though. He turned into the yard opposite our flat, turned his music on, parked and waited. Optimist. Especially considering it was 6.30pm on a rainy mid-week evening!

Maybe he was selling something more lucrative, and foolishly using an Ice Cream van in winter as "cover"...

You may have a point. Across the road is the red-light district - perhaps he was lost (as well as being an entrepreneur with a distinct ineptitude for product release dates)

Normally stay up to about 1ish. Depends on the time of my first lecture really, if I've got a pesky 9am lecture it'd be earlier than that.

Am soon to start a new job after 8 months trying (and failing) to earn money freelance, so my 3am posts are likely to become rarer!

I've never liked going to bed and never liked getting up, so when I work mornings and have to get up at 5am, I'm caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. I never overlay though !
When I was younger I'd finish the night shift on Friday morning and not bother going to bed, to try and put my bodyclock back on track. I often regretted it, especially when I went out for a drink - 2 pints and I wanted a kip !!!!

I wish I was a night owl! I seem to get really sleepy around 10.30pm, no matter what time I've gotten up that morning. I aim to be up and about for about 8am, what with revision etc, but lately, my bed feels so much softer and warmer, so I stay in it a little longer hehe!

Usually get up about 7.30am ish! For day job and can get to bed anytime up until 3am with the evening job. No wonder I'm ALWAYS knackered!

I'm in a middle of a project with a deadline to meet and I tend to work better at night when nothing good is on TV.

I'd be happily sleeping just now if it weren't for the snoring competition going on between Brude and Mr Strix

(Although Mr Strix does have a nasty chesty cough :( )

I hadn't realised Halevan had so recently been diagnosed with seogrens(sp?) syndrome

Ooo wow look how times have changed eh...
I'm such a random sleeper now, I really have lost out on my little routine that I used to have going 3 years ago when I first posted on this thread!
Now its a case of I sleep when I can! I go to uni about 10pm most nights and come home about 3am, 4am.... sleep in til about 9am... go shopping, do some more study, then slop out on the sofa and sleep for a few hours in the afternoon... and repeat the cycle... lol! :P
