He said that on Channel Four's The Glam Top Ten broadcast in the mid 90s. For example there are only a handful of complete editions out of two or three hundred left from the 1960's (it was first broadcast in January 1964 from Manchester) and there's only one complete edition left from 1972: Sweet, Slade, Bolan performances lost forever. Criminally they never saw a market for future generations so much was wiped or even broadcast live. Old TOTP's never to be seen again unless recorded at home on the rarely owned VCR pre 1976.
