So, ladies (and gents) do you still have teddy bears? I have got quite a few and my OH thinks its a teen thing, but i like my teddies, i dont know if its something to do with getting older or just a girl thing, but my mum has loads too and she,s in her 60,s :D

I had around 400 - 500 when I was younger but i've slowly had to get rid of them. However having a daughter means that I get to keep some under the pretence that they are hers :D. I did save things like rainbow brite and her horse, care bears and stuff.

Ive still got a few of my teddies from when i was a child, but im a sucker for a cute looking face, saying, "buy me", so have accquired some more :hihi:, the most recent one was a zippy from rainbows, beanie.

Not really :) I don't mind how it's seen. They're soft nd cuddly and look nice on my bed.

I have a few teddies, but onyl have two on my bed ... Teddy and errr, teddy. One is 40 years old and the other 32 and they've kept themselves immaculately.

I hate them, they just mess my room up. I have around 40 all presents from family, friends and boyfriends.

I have two, One little one called Maurice (I didn't name him, it was on the tag!), which I got with a bunch of flowers last week, and a giant Tiger, in which OH bought me whilst we were at Chester Zoo. Only problem is, there isnt enough room in my single bed for Tiger, Teddy AND Me!

I only have 1 teddy bear and I only have that because I forced my little love monkey at gun point to win it for me at a fair.
I do have several cuddly Elephants, a cuddly mammoth and a cuddly dinosuar called Duncan who is also my hand bag.

I have one which is as old as I am which is kept safe in a cupboard. Any other stuffed pieces of sewn material which make their way into the house are killed and destroyed by the dog. He especially likes ripping their eyes out.

The reason he isn't loved as he should be is that he was never really mine but was given to me by a friend at Uni (MP Jack Cunningham's daughter if anyone remembers him). He has sat at the head of my bed for these past 20 years but doesn't get cuddled and doesn't even have a name :cry::cry::cry:

No teddies, but I do have a big soft cuddly cat called 'Mr Jones, the cat with no bones' that I bought about 20 years ago. Not sure where he is, probably somewhere in my son's room, in fact my real cats often get quite amorous with him:help: best not to think about that one

several - currently all squashed together on a chair watching tv.....!!!

I try to get them from places I go to - I have a polar bear dressed in a Mountie uniform from Canada, a Panda bear from China, a friend for life bear from Vermont (when a friend for life bear is sold, the company donate one to children who lost all their toys in natural disasters such as hurricane Katrina), a bear from FAO Schwartz in New York.... various charity bears....

Your not alone with the teddy thing. I've still got my first bear, which is called Barnaby. He has been stitched up that many times we give in now. A few years ago my mum asked me what i wanted for my birthday. The reply was a Liverpool teddy bear. That was what my mum bought me. Nobody grows out of teddy bears.

400-500?! i have one teddy bear which ive have since i was born, my dad got it for me, but its always been tatty, he probably got it from oxfam to begin with! i have a me2u bear my friend got me, a millie cat my boyf got me and a kingkong toy which was a secret santa gift and i still dont know who from! so not too many, i'm not that bothered about them
boyf has a big mario cushion that i bought him in hong kong- he cuddles that when i'm being antisocial :)

Not many, think they look a bit untidy. I have a biggish one on my bed, two of those fancy grey ones that are from Clinton Cards, another ickle one and finally Mario and Wario that were won on some drunken binge in Butlins.....:hihi:
