My eldest piggy died this week, leaving Dandy all on her own. And while I'm giving her extra attention, she is lonely and is missing Acorah. I don't want to BUY a piggy when there are so many in rescues that need homes, but I only know one rescue out in cubly. And while she does have three piggies, they're all bonded so it would mean seperating them, which I really don't want to do.

So does anyone know any piggy rescues actually in Sheffield I can nosey in?

I know Pets at home have a rescue section to check out, but I believe my mum said that they took the piggy in there two days ago :P

If Peaches cant help, you can try BARC in Barnsley or I do know of 10 piggies looking for new homes after being rescued from a shed fire the other, they are in Leicester but there are gorgeous pics of them and Piggy runs can be arranged:)

ember and ash and...I forget the rest? *is on RU* I was looking at those babies but I had no idea where Leicester even was, and I was a bit dubious about asking for a run just incase they hate each other when one gets here.

They have a load of Guinea pigs at the moment in at Chesterfield RSPCA. Might be worth giving them a try

It wasn't directed to you. Holiday hutch should know what it means.

I can't get to Chesterfield.

Yep that's the ones ;) Just worked out who you are on RU (me >>:loopy::hihi:). There's no harm in asking and they will usually take them back if things dont work out.

hehe I tried to use my usual name but apparently it's too long or some such. I don't know. So I shortened it to the first letters of each word. I almost made this post there but well after the last piggy thread I made I figured I'd just not post about piggies there again. I'm still really angry that the thread became a fight to make me join a piggy forum.

They are adorable piggies. Ok, I'll ask about them (when I remember who has them). I'd just hate to put a piggy through the stress of comming here just to be told "Dandy hates you so I can't keep you"
