I think they play in the South Yorkshire Amateur Football League Division 1A iirc.

Division 1 is split into 1A and 1B with the winners being promoted to the Premier.

There is also 2 cups, one straight knockout and one shield with group games, then knockout.

The standard is good, and with the matches being on a Sat morning, you get to watch the footie in the pub afterwards.

That's all correct there, Timmy, except we kick off at 2pm so just in time for the start of the Sky Sports match but not the 3pm stuff (I have now put that in the thread). I'd just make the relatively small point that we now play in the SYA Prem. League after last season's promotion. Other than that full marks and good researching.

No research, I play for Sheffield West End, who you beat in the Division 1 playoff in extra time :( So I guess we will be seeing you next season :)

i used to play county senior at centre-half but a broken leg and damaged ankle made me start playing in goal.

now just play 5 a side but would love to get back in to 11 a side.
