Isn't there a netto or lidl at the retail park on Queens Rd?

I like the white lion near Ponsfords and the sheaf view for drinking

Aye, I live just up Heeley Bank Road, and theres a Netto, Poundstretcher, couple of furniture/carpet shops and the huge B&Q, all on Queens Road <together>. First place i've lived in sheffield, been here since last June and I love the area :) I didn't know there was a Co-Op nearby though !

Heeley is very close to London Road (walking distance) where you can buy just about anything you want. There are also a few shops up near the doctors surgery at Heeley green, but it is a VERY uphill walk to get there.

White lion is excellent for conversation on any day of the week as it has a few rooms which you can hide in and converse. And lots of alcoves and a nice private yard at the back with beer garden tables. One is a no smoking room.
