My friend is getting married in a couple of months and wants to know where she buy nice underwear for her wedding. is there any shops in sheffield that you could recommend? I know theres La Senza in meadowhall, but thats about it.

Most Department Stores have a nice selection amongst the more boring stuff but also Anne Summers also have nice pretty feminine stuff too. Its not all bondage and dildos!!! There is an Anne Summers store in Sheffield town centre - Fargate I believe.

I buy mine from La Senza :wink: They have a lovely range, very tasteful and reasonable on price. Not too many "Boring" undies either... The lace ones are fab.. The detail is incredible :P

I gave up looking in Sheffield for wedding lingerie. Even the department stores seem to stock the most dull or functional lines from each manufacturer. :(

This isn't going to be much help, but I shop in Madame Foners in Liverpool, where they also do free alterations so you get a perfect fit :thumbsup:

There is a shop called Gash which is between Division and West St, I've not been in so I don't know if it's exactly what you're after. They have a website which is www.gash.co.uk you can have a gander on there before you make the trip to see if it's what you want.

I've bought a few 'Lepel' items off ebay for a fraction of the High Street price - excellent quality underwear!!

There's a specialist lingerie shop on Woodseats, not been in so not sure what quality/prices like but looks worth a look if you looking for something differant!!

I think the OPs friend may have some by now :roll: It was almost 6 years ago!

i spent £65 at an anne summers party, my friend told me about a site on ebay that sold the same thing i bought for around £20. type in ebay and click on lingerie and all the nice NEW stuff will come up, you may have to open an account but it is well worth it for the money you will save.
