could someone please help, my sons laptop has stopped booting.
the laptop starts up but just before it should go onto the main screen an error message pops up on a blue screen it only lasts for around 1 second though so cant see the error message then it goes off and restarts again. could anyone tell me what to do as we have tryed everything but nothing is responding.:huh: :rant:

i have found out that i need a quickrestore disk, would anyone know if i could use someone elses disk for the same type of laptop as i have lost mine?

I think you can ONLY use the bootdisk that comes with the model of that laptop.

Try pressing F8 as the PC boots and see if you can select the option 'restore to last good working state' or summat to that effect.

thanks ive tryed that no working :confused:.

With some laptops, F9 or F11 will get you to a restore screen ( if the machine has a restore partition )

Hi If Bios Screen Comes On Try Pressing F5 Safe Mode And Try Using System Restore Functions Pm If You Need Any Help
