Just a question for dog owners. Does anyone out there own both a Great Dane and a Chiwawa? If so how do they get along?

If it was raining the whippet used to walk along under the Dane to keep dry:hihi: medusa 13-06-2008, 07:16 PM Molly's best friends are Shihtzu boys. She has to lie down to play fight with them and they quite often chase each other underneath her. I did worry about how much bigger she is than them, but (crossed fingers) they've never come to any sort of harm whilst rough and tumbling with her. katkin 14-06-2008, 02:06 PM No but if I had my way I'd have an English Toy Terrier with my daft dobermutt Ailsa (big black n tan dog n tiny black n tan dog together). Voice of reason other half says we've got enough with the one beast though (she lives with 8 cats) kazads53 15-06-2008, 01:24 AM ive got a nine month old boxer and 2 small yorkie cross ,he is very big and they are very small but they still manage to play..........so long as they dont get in the way of his tail wagging otherwis they finish up accross the other side of the room!!!!:hihi: dogs4life 15-06-2008, 01:47 AM I had a small jack russell size rescue dog and then got another rescue puppy who looked just like her at three months of age - she carried on growing and now the older dog can run underneath the tummy of the younger one without touching! When we are out walking people always stop and think the older dog is the younger ones pup as they are so alike - except in size that is:hihi: You are viewing an archive.
