I just wondered if anyone on here owns a friendly weimy?
I'm having problems with Takara at the moment, she's really sensitive and nervy and during a socialisation session this afternoon (just making her more comfortable around dogs whilst on the lead) an offlead weimy had a go at her.

It was just one of those things - nobody's fault, Takara was scared and I think she raised a lip to tell the other dog to go away (I was actually reinforcing her for not paying attention to the other dog but it got really close) and the next minute the weimy was snapping at her back end while I was holding her collar to stop her retaliating and turning it into a full blown fight.

So I was after someone who could let us just approach very slowly (probably wouldn't even get to greeting the other dog just showing her that they're not so scary) because I know if I don't get her meeting other weimies straight away, she'll hold a grudge and never get over it!
