Well it was probably someone who just wanted to let fireworks off.
Occasionally , even Sheffielders like to let their hair down and do something for the sheer hell of it -----after all they don't have much to celebrate officially , do they ?
If it had to be "about" something , how about a birthday or perhaps winning on the pools or an obnoxious teenager leaving home for Australia ?
Why is letting fireworks off so strange ?

Hackenthorpe too, for what it's worth.

Perhaps it's enthusiastic royalists. Or maybe they won on the National. Or perhaps they were just spiffing jolly glad it was Saturday.
