I've heard about this before, and there is a scientific explanation. Women can hear sounds at higher frequencies than men can, which is why you can hear the high-pitched WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and he can't! :|
demoniac 18-06-2008, 05:57 PM i cant hear it but i can feel it
arachnophobe 18-06-2008, 06:01 PM i cant hear it but i can feel it
Makes sense- the sound must cause vibrations that you can feel. :suspect:
Joanl 18-06-2008, 06:02 PM Yes I can...I also can hear him poke his tongue out at me...I can hear me ask him something when he swears I didn't. I actually hear lots of things that he doesn't really. Selective hearing though I call it.:hihi:

One of my neighbours boilers' external exhaust made the same noise when their boiler was running. Though that was painful to listen to. (I eventually found somone who could also hear that one :hihi:)
