After watching the programme earlier.I thought Zoe had guessed at least 1 gay bloke but as both turned out to be straight I wondered if the gay members of the forum had seen the programme and who was gay in their opinion,.

I am surprised they have made another programme like this as 'There's Something About Miriam' ended up in court and the Lads involved in the making of the programme won and got quite a large court settlement for their blushes....

I haven't a clue if it is the same TV Production Company making this series but would expect the 'disclaimer' they have had to sign to participate probably has a clause in preventing them from court action or trying to obtain any form on compensation as a result of the 'emotional distress' that maybe caused as a result of the filming!!!!

I've not watched it yet, but it's in a queue on my TiVo for me, so I'll let you know when I've had a vada! :thumbsup:

Sounds like my night at Climax last night! I got chatted up by several girls (*K sighs; isn't that always the way) but only one guy who kept winking at me, and saying 'it's all good'. At least, I think he was winking, it could just have been a twitch! :D

I watched it, it is also repeated Saturday Morning at 10.25 channel 4 if you miss it Friday night.

I haven't a clue who is gay and who is straight. The guy who everyone thought was gay turned out to be straight!

Its got me hooked. If she picks a straight guy she gets to share £100,000 - £50,000 each!!! But if she picks a gay guy - he gets to keep the lot! :thumbsup:

I saw this for the first time yesterday as i was flicking through the channels...

I was horrified to hear the F*** word being used during morning viewing... when she discovered that the guy with the hair straightners was actually straight... :O

I was so sure that guy that everyone else assumed was gay... actually was... but proved us fooled.... hmmmm :?

One afternoon a few months ago I saw a programme that sounds very like this. It seemed to be the final episode of a series, and involved a gay man having to pick a potential partner out of around 15 other guys - some of whom were gay and some who were straight!

As far as I remember, he was aware that a number were straight, but they would be trying to fool him into thinking they were gay so he'd pick them. If he mistakenly picked a straight bloke as his partner, that bloke would win all the prize-money!

His best friend - a straight female - was there to help him work out who was gay/straight. Very convoluted!

I started watching a bit like it was a carcrash - so awful and yet so compelling. There were clips in from earlier episodes, and it was interesting that as the contestants got to know and like each other, some of the straight blokes were developing problems with the idea of trying to fool this bloke. Some were obviously in a moral dilemma - they wanted the money, but they didn't like the lying involved.

In the end, the guy who was choosing did indeed pick a gay bloke, who he'd clearly formed a very strong bond with. It looked like it was shaping up to be a long-term relationship.

Interesting tv, but not sure whether the

I saw that. Channel 4 blatently aired the uncensored version of the show at 10:30am on a Saturday morning with f*!k this and F*&K that. Had me laughing for ages. After the show a voice over came on sheepishly apologising for all the bad language LOL

I caught the program from the 2nd episode. Here's my deal on who I think is gay and straight :-

Alex : Gay - He looks too preened and a muscle mary gym type. Also his attitude seems a bit camp sometimes ?

Ben : Straight - He threatened a fight with Danial. Typical towny straight trying to prove how toguh he is after a few shandy's.

Danny : Gay - Bit diificult at first as I thought straight but after a while I think he's trying to playing it straight but really gay. I think it's because he doesn't seem genuinely seem interested in the girl enough.

Daniel : Straight (the blonde haired kid). Just because he's a model and has long blonde hair means nothing. His mannerisms and attitude say's cheeky lad and loves it with the chicks.

Jonny : Straight. Not sure about this one. He chickened out on the Rodeo task which may indicate a pussy boy but I think he's just another straight guy. Gays are more 'for it' on tasks I think.

Pete : Gay - To be honest, I can't remember much of this guy. Just going on looks and instinc (which means nothing), and also the odds that shes got rid of more straights than gays.

New guy : Two new guy's joined this week and she got rid of one of then already. Unfotunatley i think she got rid of the straight in my opinion. The new guy acts slightly camp when his guards down.


There, i've commited my guesses. .Only time will tell if I'm extremely wrong or I have gaydar ? Anyone agree or disagree ? let me know. Just a bit of fun. Hope I haven't affended anyone in my explanations.
