This is gibberish to me, but someone might be able to translate it into English and tell me what my computer is trying to do, and maybe even why it is failing?


"Error: Access violation at 0x00518375 (tried to read from 0x0000003C), program terminated."


I believe the latter silly number thing is a memory address; I haven't a clue what the former is. This happens occasionally when I (or my partner, on her laptop) are playing a particular online game. Anyone any ideas as to a cause and possible fixes?

Have you tried plugging it into google along with name of online game?
