We are looking to do a DIY holiday this year as because we have 3 children now over the age of 3 if we book on a regular package deal it is working out very expensive as we have to book 6 sharing accommodation and pay a supplement or book 2 rooms (but we want to be together!!)

We can get really cheap flights to Spain/Majorca with the likes of easyjet, BMI baby, etc

But even trying sites like expedia, alpharooms etc accommodation coming up sky high.

Does anybody know of any villas/apartment websites (not James Villas etc - very expensive) or even private rentals that may help us to complete our DIY package???

Or anybody elses experiences of doing a DIY holiday would be helpful....

id look in ads section of the star or free ads alwys loads of villas to rent etc:thumbsup:

Try villas in Santa Ponsa in Majorca.
We stayed there last year it was fantastic for kids,also have friends there who have a bar .Do real chips and the best curry ever.

Have a look on www.holidaytruths.co.uk they have a private rentals sections and there may be something on there. Otherwise I ran a search and came across a site called: www.somewhere2stay.com that looks ok I didn't have time to look at it closely but there are many more site just google - accommodation in Majorca.
