I really had to bug my midwife to get a tour. You may be best calling them directly Mandy from the maternity unit gave me a tour around and it really put my mind at ease. When we went around they wre pretty quiet.

i have booked on a breast feeding class, they have a drop in every week and classes are once a month I am going to one on the 21st July at 6.30pm at the hospital. I havent yet booked on antinatal classes with the hospital yet either and I am 23 weeks. The call them parent craft I think but havent heard too much about them yet. You could get in touch with the midwives at Kiveton surgery. They have their clinics every thursday and they are attached to Rotherham hospital and Debbie is very nice.

I have actually booked on a Natal Hypnotherapy birthing course after recommendation but would also like to go one on from the hospital.

I gave birth at Rotherham, and you just ring labour ward/b10 and they book you in for the classes. They do them on a thur evening or a sat morning. I booked mine when I was around 30 weeks, and they had no problems fitting me in. They also do parentcraft stuff the midwife gave me a leaflet, but I never went to any.
Oh and this includes a tour round labour ward
