get her fed on plenty of kitten food.... kitten meat especially as its high in protein and calories, she'll need at least double the normal amount of food she normally eats. hope this helps :o)

oh has she finished feeding her kits yet? if she has i'd still keep her on kitten food til she bulks up her weight a bit but not obviously double the amount she would normally have lol sorry elaine

She hasnt feeding them yet,, she looks like skin and bones! the kittens are eating kitty food 3 times a day and not feeding as much at all! they are 8 weeks old, i'll buy double the kitty food! thanks!

Just on a personal note,, my daughter is called Laney, first time i have met anyone called that! (even tho your an Elaine!)

I fed Donut on kitten food when she was feeding her babies, and fed her several times a day, whenever she seemed hungry, as she went scraggy. I had her spayed a few weeks after, and now she's a proper fat dumpling! lol

If she's still ffeding them, you cant go wrong with Royal Canin - Try the babycat or baby kitten food (dried complete) and Almo Nature and Applaws are good, nutitional wet foods.

Try Helly if you can't get these in your pet store- or the pet store on West Street has them

The most effective thing to do is to offer her and the babies several meals a day (all high calorie kitten food) and also have available some really good kitten biscuits like Canin Babycat, Hills or similar available 24/7 for those inbetween snacking moments.

For food that is just for her (and definitely not for the babs) you can also add a little spoonful of olive oil to her meals to help her put weight back on and a little evening primrose and cod liver oils to help her coat condition.
