A friend and I are looking at making our own Biodiesel from used/waste cooking oil. We have got most things in place and researched and all is looking good, but what we now need is a good, regular supply of used cooking oil. Once up and running I think we will need about 50 litres a week to supply our needs.

So basically we are looking for anyone who generates a lot of used cooking oil and would like us to collect it free of charge so we can improve our impact on the environment. We are based in S35 and S36 but would be willing to travel to collect.

Having researched through the environment agency, we do not need to be registered waster carriers but we will issue waste collection notes for your records.

Many pubs and restaurants who have lots of waste oil have contractors who come round to collect them. May be worth giving a call to some to see they're needs

I read on a forum that many places are now selling their waste oil because of the soaring costs of diesel and high demand.
