My son who is six at christmas needs to have a bit of a wrestle and his cousins who will play wrestle with him don't live local.

Does anyone have any ideas of any clubs in the woodseats end of town?

I have seen details of the Elite club on the forum but the website seems to be suspended, and it has been six months since they where mentioned on here.

Hiya, if you can't find a wrestling club, could I recommend BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu)? we do wrestling takedowns and judo throws but concentrate on ground fighting. A lot of our training consists of what we call 'rolling' where we begin on our knees, but sometimes standing up like judo or wrestling. My son, who is almost 5, loves it as he likes to wrestle standing up and on the ground. If you need any further details have a wee look at our website or PM me. ta, Noel

Bless! Looking forward to seeing you both, my son Will is almost five and I'm sure they'll love rolling together! I'm down at the MMA show in Rotherham this Saturday to support 'Monkey' (you see there is a lotta love between BJJ teams in Sheffield!!) if you're there say hi as if you remember last time I had laryngitis (spelling Carcass!!) and so could only nod!!
