All I can hear is "Ven, do you want another Gin?" ....rather be me than you sonny.

Could be worse. You could be the one using the power tools, doing the building work or being chased by the sirens/helicopter. :)
Get yourself a beer, chill and try and block out the background noise, if that fails try ear plugs!

I can hear John Major cycling to evensong accross a cricket pitch whilst drinking warm beer.

Its not the noise that bothers me, its the strong smell of cannabis from next door when they have the door open!
