For those that may be interested, On sunday sheffield is hosting the first round of the National Points Series 4x Mountain bike racing.
The event will be at Wheelbase Indoor dirt trackwhich is near chapeltown, info here www.dirtsociety.com

for those that dont know, 4Cross is av ery exciting, fast format, riders compete in a number of knockout 'motos' with a kind of last man standing wins format, over purpose built Dirt Tracks, lots of jumps, berms, and crashes. This is a contact sport, and is excellent for spectators!

It was an excellent days racing with some of the best riders in the world competing on the UK's only permanent indoor BMX track.

That pesky 2 time World Champion clearing up in proclass again. Would have been great to see our own Steve Peat in the mix! The racing was strong in all classes.

Wonder if anyone from the city council cares that a National venue has now been sanctioned at the only Indoor Venue of its kind in EUROPE! - other than the ones that came to stop everyone having food. :(

OLYMPIC DISCIPLINES anyone? :clap: :thumbsup:
